Details of Hayden Panettiere’s death revealed

Hayden Panettiere, the actress acclaimed for her roles in “Heroes” and “Nashville,” passed away on August 16 at the age of 36. To date, medical examiners and law enforcement have yet to determine the definitive cause of her sudden death. The actress was discovered unresponsive at her residence in Greenville, South Carolina, where paramedics pronounced her dead following cardiac arrest.

As reported by USA Today, a post-mortem examination revealed no signs of physical trauma, and the results of toxicology screenings are anticipated within the coming weeks. At this stage, investigators have found no evidence of foul play.

According to the official police report, Panettiere’s former partner, Brian Hickerson, and his brother were present at the scene when she was found. Hickerson directed authorities toward a collection of medications the actress had been taking. Notably, Hickerson has a prior criminal record involving domestic violence charges against Panettiere.

It has since been confirmed that the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has become involved in the ongoing investigation.
