Daredevil Season 3 May Adapt Iconic Elektra and Bullseye Scene, Insider Says

This note contains potential spoilers for the third season of Daredevil: Born Again.

Season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again may adapt one of the most famous storylines involving Elektra and Bullseye. According to insider Alex Perez, the encounter between the characters will be especially tense, and its possible outcome is well known to comic book readers.

The insider is likely referencing Daredevil #181 by Frank Miller, published in 1982. In this issue, Bullseye defeats Elektra in a fight and fatally wounds her with one of her own sais. The heroine was later resurrected, so even a repeat of the famous scene does not necessarily mean a final farewell to the character. However, if reports from Hollywood media stating that the third season of Daredevil: Born Again will be the last are to be believed, such an outcome cannot be ruled out either.

Photos from the set previously appeared online, confirming the return of Elodie Yung to the role of Elektra. The character last appeared in The Defenders, where she supposedly perished beneath the rubble of Midland Circle alongside the leaders of the Hand. How she will be brought back into the story is currently unknown.

The third season will premiere on Disney+ in March 2027.
