Games Workshop and Black Library have officially announced “Hive,” a significant new literary addition to the 41st millennium penned by the acclaimed British writer Dan Abnett.
In a world where the Planetary Governor has been undone by corruption and betrayal, the metropolis withers under the suffocating weight of Imperial reality. Within this urban sprawl, Adeptus Arbites patrols enforce the Lex Imperialis with absolute, unyielding authority.
A freshly appointed successor must now navigate a maze of challenges, compounded by his status as an outsider in a city defined by rigid dogma. Meanwhile, whispers of an impending insurrection are beginning to echo from the lower hab-levels up to the high spires.
Who are the shadowy figures planting the seeds of anarchy in the slums of Sacramentus? Will they manage to dismantle the new regime before it can solidify its power? And is there a far more sinister threat waiting to be unleashed from the depths of the hive?
