By late 2026, fans will return to the grim darkness of the Warhammer 40,000 universe to revisit the Imperial hive city of Sacramentus. Renowned author Dan Abnett, in collaboration with Black Library, is set to unveil “Hive,” a sweeping narrative published across two volumes.

Games Workshop and Black Library have officially announced “Hive,” a significant new literary addition to the 41st millennium penned by the acclaimed British writer Dan Abnett.

In a world where the Planetary Governor has been undone by corruption and betrayal, the metropolis withers under the suffocating weight of Imperial reality. Within this urban sprawl, Adeptus Arbites patrols enforce the Lex Imperialis with absolute, unyielding authority.

A freshly appointed successor must now navigate a maze of challenges, compounded by his status as an outsider in a city defined by rigid dogma. Meanwhile, whispers of an impending insurrection are beginning to echo from the lower hab-levels up to the high spires.
