Unofficial Android Port of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Reportedly Runs at 60 FPS in Gameplay Videos
Chinese developers have released an unofficial Android port of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, based on the PC version of the 2007 shooter. Enthusiasts keep adapting cult games for mobile devices, and this build is already circulating among players.
The authors’ page, with system requirements and a list of compatible devices, has not been found yet. Reddit users are posting gameplay recordings and sharing test results from different smartphones.
One player ran Modern Warfare on a Google Pixel 9a with a Tensor G4 chip and 8 GB of RAM. According to that player, the game runs well at high graphics settings. A Samsung Galaxy S26 owner also reported smooth performance in several missions at 60 FPS.
Commenters also mention working multiplayer, though technical problems remain. One participant in the discussion hit a crash when using Vulkan and recommends switching to OpenGL, which gave that user a more stable frame rate.
