Musicians Talk About Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines Remake, but Fans Remain Skeptical
Some players would like to see an improved version of the classic, but they struggle to imagine the vampire RPG returning in today’s market.
Players have recently been talking about the original Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, released in 2004. A user going by Few_Interview8222 said he attended a concert by the American industrial metal band Genitorturers. One of the band’s songs was included in the soundtrack of the original Bloodlines.
According to Few_Interview8222, one of the musicians mentioned a Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines remake:
I went to a Genitorturers show in Brooklyn, and it was great. At some point they asked us if we knew about VTM Bloodlines, and then they said a remake of that game is in the works.
Is that true?

Few_Interview8222 provided no recording and asks readers to take his word for it. Some participants in the discussion allow that the musicians may have said something about “Bloodlines” but meant a different game.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was released last year. One theory holds that musicians who are not immersed in the games industry could simply have confused the new game with a “remake” of the first one. They may also not have known that Bloodlines 2 had already come out.
