“Crystal Lake” to be officially released in Russia
The Russian premiere of the series Crystal Lake is set for October 16 on the streaming platform Amediateka, according to an official press release.
Audiences will gain access to the entire season upon release. This project serves as a prequel to the iconic horror franchise Friday the 13th. The narrative centers on Pamela Voorhees (portrayed by Green Book star Linda Cardellini), a single mother grappling with the tragic loss of her 11-year-old son, Jason, at a summer camp. Fueled by grief, she embarks on a vengeful path against the teenagers she holds responsible for her child’s death.
Crystal Lake is a collaboration between studio A24 and showrunner Brad Kane (It: Welcome to Derry). A localized trailer for the series has also been released.
