Criticized Deus Ex Remaster Delayed Indefinitely — Developers Plan to Improve the Game
Not all players welcomed this new take on a classic.
The September reveal of Deus Ex Remastered sparked frustration rather than excitement. Gamers online started to voice sharp criticism of the developers as soon as the first trailer dropped.
Many were unhappy with the visual direction and urged the team to rework the project. The community was eventually heard: in December the studio Aspyr announced it had decided to postpone the Deus Ex remaster indefinitely.
The developers behind Deus Ex Remastered said they’d taken fan feedback on board and are focused on delivering the best possible player experience.
