Cosplayers Portray Mei and Mercy from Overwatch

Cosplayers Ringeko and Anna “Annet_cosplay” Cheremisinova transformed into Mei and Mercy from the team shooter Overwatch, highlighting two heroes known for aiding their allies in difficult battles.

Photographer PETROVNA organized the shoot to share a fresh look at the Overwatch franchise, which continues to maintain an active fan following nearly a decade after its debut.

During the session, Ringeko portrayed Mei-Ling Zhou, while Cheremisinova appeared as Dr. Angela Ziegler.

In Overwatch lore, Mei is a Chinese climatologist dedicated to safeguarding Earth’s ecosystem from global crises. Her character pairs an optimistic, compassionate personality with determination and scientific expertise to endure extreme environments.

The cosplay replicates Mei’s heavy blue-and-white insulated winter research suit with fur trim. Her brown hair is styled in a bun fastened with a traditional hairpin, alongside her small robotic drone, Snowball.

Angela Ziegler, known by her callsign Mercy, is a Swiss surgeon and pioneer in applied nanobiology who dedicated her life to healing and peace. Her background portrays her as a committed pacifist who maintains an authoritative presence when protecting her teammates.

The depiction captures Mercy’s signature appearance, featuring long blonde hair gathered into a high ponytail and her classic combat field styling.
