“Cop-Star” series starring Nikita Panfilov released on Ivi
The online streaming platform Ivi has officially released the premiere episodes of the new comedy series “Cop-Star.” The show features Nikita Panfilov (known for “The Surgeon”) in the leading role.
The narrative follows the operations of a specialized media-focused police unit. The team is led by seasoned Major Andrey Kitaev (Panfilov), who finds himself paired with an ambitious intern named Nika, portrayed by Anastasia Krasovskaya (of “Fake” fame). This unconventional duo sets out to apprehend criminals while simultaneously striving to boost their engagement and reach on social media.
Directed by Vitaly Dudka, celebrated for his work on the comedies “Yura the Janitor” and “Neuro-Dad,” the inaugural season consists of 13 episodes. “Cop-Star” is also scheduled for a broadcast run on the TNT network.
