Tencent and TiMi Studio confirm spinoff of the popular mobile MOBA coming next year
During its inaugural livestream in China, Tencent Games announced that the long-awaited Honor of Kings: World is slated to release in spring 2026 for PC and mobile platforms. TiMi Studio Group is handling development, while publishing duties will be managed by Level Infinite — a subsidiary of Tencent.
The title expands the Honor of Kings universe by combining action-adventure mechanics reminiscent of Genshin Impact with cooperative, open-world RPG systems. Players can look forward to raids, boss encounters, collaborative activities, and the freedom to explore a vast HOK world. The game will also allow on-the-fly character switching in combat and features a system for decorating a personal home base.
The project has already been honored as the “Most Anticipated Game of the Year” at the GamingonPhone Awards 2025. Although the release has so far been confirmed only for China, Level Infinite has previously stated the game is being developed for a global audience, leaving open the possibility of a simultaneous worldwide launch.
