Coming of Age” Star Officially Cast in “Heat 2
British actor Stephen Graham, known for his roles in This Is England and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, has officially signed on for the sequel to the crime thriller Heat, according to a report from Variety.
Industry rumors suggest that Graham will portray a younger version of Neil McCauley, the master thief originally brought to life by Robert De Niro. The star-studded ensemble for Heat 2 also features Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale, Adam Driver, Jason Clarke, and Odessa Young, with Michael Mann returning to the director’s chair.
While an official release date for Heat 2 has yet to be announced, production is slated to commence this autumn. In the meantime, fans can look forward to seeing Graham in the upcoming film The Bunker, due for release later this year.
