“KinoPoisk” has commissioned a second season of the series “Comeback”. Alexander Petrov will reprise the lead role.
The eight-episode drama premiered in early October. Its story is set in Nizhny Novgorod at the turn of the 2000s. Three school friends — Yura, Ptaha and Oleg — attempt to help their classmate Dasha, but instead find themselves in grave trouble. They are unexpectedly saved by a homeless man nicknamed Kompot (Petrov), who suffers from amnesia. Grateful, the friends decide to help Kompot piece together his past.
The series was created by Ilya Kulikov (known for “Policeman from Rublyovka”). Dinar Garipov directed every episode (his previous work includes “Prelest”). The cast also features Vasilisa Korostyshevskaya, Illarion Marov, Khetag Khinchagov, Grigory Stolbov, and others.
