We’re within the run-up to GDC and E3 once more, so which means it’s teaser trailer season. Today’s ad-for-an-ad comes from Goat Simulator and Sanctum studio Coffee Stain, and I feel they could have the digital camera pointed the incorrect manner, though I kinda hope they don’t, as a result of I’ve little or no curiosity in something however this lovely alien lizard/lobster/pet factor now.
It’s pretty protected to imagine that with a reputation and brand like that, plus the largely-unseen industrial exercise occurring simply off-screen within the teaser that Satisfactory is a few form of industrial building/administration sport, and but I can’t carry myself to care concerning the thriller of the unseen game-to-be due to that damnably cute alien puppy-thing and its love of juicy fruits.
The animation on it’s simply pretty, proper right down to how the plates/fins on its again flare up when it sneezes (and that is among the cutest little pet sneezes ever). Just give me a sport about this little critter and its quest to snack on all of the scrumptious fruits in a large alien jungle, and I’ll be blissful.
Coffee Stain are predictably evasive about particulars of their press launch, stating that if we may inform something concerning the sport at this level, then it wouldn’t be an excellent teaser. It’ll even be ‘done when it’s executed’, making all of it doubly obscure.
Still, if the obscure half-promise (prone to be dashed in opposition to the rocks of actuality) of spending extra time with my excellent alien pet appeals, there may be apparently an alpha-testing signup page here couched in nefarious future corporate-speak, and with the promise of the primary invitations going out a while in May.
