Arc Raiders Developers Release New Frozen Trail Update Footage Showcasing Locations and Enemy

A new map and various robots are on the way.

The Embark Studios team is preparing for the upcoming release of the Frozen Trail update for Arc Raiders. This will be the largest update in the project’s history, and it will include various improvements, the new Pendola Pass map, opponents, and other content.

The developers of Arc Raiders published several new screenshots on social media, showcasing fragments of the snowy location, one of the opponents named Bully, and the remains of a massive robot:

Prepare to climb the mountain and take your first steps across the snowy Pendola Pass. The Frozen Trail update arrives next week! The snow holds many dangers… Stay warm. Keep moving.

In addition to Bully, this update will introduce two more robot models: Hydra and Skulker. The developers previously published concepts featuring these opponents:

The release of the Frozen Trail update for Arc Raiders is scheduled for October 8, 2026, on PC and consoles. On the same day, Embark Studios will make the game temporarily free on all platforms. The PvE mode of the game is also scheduled to be tested this month.
