Tucked into the heart of Illinois, Champaign extends a friendly welcome to every passing trucker. In the forthcoming for , you’ll have the opportunity to drive through its distinctive streets and landmarks—here’s a preview of what to expect.

Situated roughly 135 miles southwest of Chicago, Champaign forms a lively twin-city region with neighboring Urbana, commonly referred to as Champaign–Urbana. The area blends small-town warmth with the energetic pulse of a college community and proud Midwestern traditions. It’s widely recognized for its prominent public university, an institution that traces its roots back to 1867.

The campus atmosphere is a focal point of our DLC. Our art and map teams modeled several university-inspired structures as in-game landmarks, including a contemporary instructional center, an electrical and computer engineering facility, and a sizable research institute—plus a modest commemorative sign honoring the campus itself.

Beyond the university, Champaign’s in-game skyline features several recognizable civic structures—city hall, the local hospital, a church, several mid-rise buildings, and a community park. These locations were carefully recreated so players familiar with the real town will spot them while navigating its roads.

Champaign also boasts a flourishing cultural scene and growing agritourism offerings. Local farms host visitors and educational tours, highlighting the agricultural traditions that help define the region.

Agriculture—especially corn and soybeans—remains a cornerstone of the local economy, alongside food processing and light industry. To reflect that in-game, we’ve added a food processing depot where you can deliver or load cargo connected to these sectors. You’ll also find additional freight opportunities at the car dealership, furniture outlet, and local warehouse depots.
