Preorders for Resident Evil Requiem are now available. Capcom has revealed further details about the Deluxe Edition, Switch 2 releases, and a slate of themed collectibles — including a Resident Evil Requiem Switch 2 Pro controller and the franchise’s first-ever Amiibo.

The game is scheduled to launch on February 27, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Every preorder, regardless of platform or edition, grants the “Apocalypse” outfit for protagonist Grace Ashcroft. If you need a recap of the series ahead of release, Capcom released a new Road to Requiem trailer narrated by Lady Dimitrescu’s voice actress, Maggie Robertson.

What Capcom Announced for Resident Evil Requiem

Resident Evil Requiem will be offered in two editions: Standard and Deluxe. The Deluxe Edition bundles the base game with an exclusive costume pack (five outfits, including a Lady Dimitrescu-themed look for Grace), four weapon skins, two screen filters, two weapon charms, and other cosmetic extras.

Resident Evil Requiem Deluxe Edition contents

Because Requiem will launch day-and-date on Switch 2, Capcom is rolling out special Nintendo-focused offerings: a Resident Evil Requiem-branded Switch 2 Pro controller and a “Resident Evil Generation Pack” for Switch 2 that includes Switch 2 editions of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Resident Evil Village, and Resident Evil Requiem. Both the controller and the Generation Pack will arrive on February 27, the game’s release date.

Capcom also confirmed the franchise’s first Amiibo — featuring Grace Ashcroft — which is slated to release next summer. No official images or a sculpt reveal were provided at this time.

Buyers on the Epic Games Store will receive Resident Evil-themed collaboration items for Fortnite, including the Grace outfit; additional crossover items will be distributed after launch, with Capcom promising more details soon.

For collectors, Capcom is producing a Premium Steelbook edition that includes the full game, all Deluxe edition content, and a limited lenticular card exclusive to that release.

Capcom has announced it will host a Resident Evil Showcase early next year to offer a deeper look at Requiem prior to launch.

Release reminder: Resident Evil Requiem arrives everywhere on February 27, 2026 (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, and Epic Games Store).
