Call of Duty helped revitalize the industry. ARC Raiders developers promise to preserve the game’s visual aesthetic and not add “clown” skins
Players will have the freedom to express themselves, but only within the game’s setting and sensible limits.
In a recent interview, Embark Studios’ design director, Virgil Watkins, said ARC Raiders will not include meaningless skins that clash with the game’s atmosphere.
We plan to retain the current aesthetic — it will reflect our vision of how elements should look and how they fit into the game’s world and lore.
Embark Studios says it will offer players “as much freedom to express themselves as possible”, provided that expression remains consistent with ARC Raiders’ visual style.
ARC Raiders is already available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
