Art the Clown — the grotesque antagonist from the Terrifier films and this year’s Universal Halloween Horror Nights lineup — is making the jump into video games. Publisher SelectaPlay and developer Relevo have confirmed that Terrifier: The ARTcade Game will release for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on November 21, 2025.

The announcement came with a new gameplay trailer that also debuts the game’s main theme, composed by Cody Carpenter. The composer — son of horror auteur John Carpenter — delivers a synth‑laden piece that complements the game’s eerie, retro aesthetic.

Visually, the title leans into bold pixel art while retaining the franchise’s brutal tone — expect the same shocking gore fans recognize from the films. The game supports solo play and local co‑op for up to four players, with modes that encourage teamwork or competitive chaos. Players will find an arsenal of visceral weapons, including chainsaws and cleavers, as they carve a path through each level.

According to SelectaPlay, the launch build includes multiple stages with branching routes, a roster of varied enemies, end‑of‑stage boss encounters, a chiptune soundtrack, cinematic finisher attacks, and six distinct game modes when the title releases on November 21, 2025.
