Brie Larson to Star in Magical Drama “One Italian Summer”

Academy Award winner Brie Larson (known for Room and Captain Marvel) is set to headline the upcoming film adaptation of One Italian Summer, as reported by Deadline.

The project is based on the bestselling novel by Rebecca Serle. The story follows Katy, a young woman grappling with a profound loss, who seeks solace by traveling to Italy’s Amalfi Coast. There, she encounters a miraculous opportunity to reconnect with her late mother.

The film will be directed by Harry Bradbeer, acclaimed for his work on Enola Holmes and Fleabag. In addition to her starring role, Larson will serve as a producer. Paramount Pictures is scheduled to release One Italian Summer in theaters on May 12, 2028.
