Boygenius brought tunes from their long-awaited launching cd, The Record, to Studio 8H.
Fresh off a monstrous six Grammy nominations, the supergroup — helmed by Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker — provided shaking efficiencies of “Not Strong Enough” and “Satanist” throughout its Saturday Night Live launching on Nov. 11.
With an intro from second-time host Timothée Chalamet, Boygenius opened up with “Not Strong Enough,” which topped Billboard‘s Adult Alternative Airplay in June. For the efficiency, the band wore black and white matches in a nod to The Beatles and their Rolling Stone publication cover in homage of Nirvana.
