Sam Fender has announced a nine-date U.K. and Ireland stadium tour for 2027 that includes two headline shows at London’s Wembley Stadium.

The Proper Massive Stadium Tour opens June 3 with the first of two shows at Newcastle’s St. James’ Park, with the second on June 5. It continues at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on June 10 and at Wembley on June 18 and 20. Fender then plays Dublin’s Marlay Park on July 1. He is also confirmed as a headliner at Belgium’s Rock Werchter festival on July 3, his first headlining slot at a European festival.

The tour returns to the U.K. on July 8 at Edinburgh’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium and ends with two nights at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on July 15 and 17. British alt-rock band Wunderhorse will support on all dates except the Dublin show.

Tickets for all shows will be available in a presale for fans who preorder Fender’s fourth album, which has not yet been announced, through his online store before 9 a.m. GMT on Oct. 26. The presale opens Oct. 28, and general sale begins at 9:30 a.m. GMT on Oct. 30. More ticketing information is available on Fender’s official website.

Fender teased the announcement in an Instagram video posted Oct. 19. In the clip, he and his bandmates dress as characters from The Lord of the Rings at St. James’ Park. It also shows drone footage of other venues on the itinerary and a return to Low Lights Tavern in North Shields, the pub where Fender first performed as a teenager.

The tour follows the release of Fender’s third album, People Watching, which came out in February 2025 on Polydor. It reached No. 1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart, won the 2025 Mercury Prize and helped Fender earn an Ivor Novello Award for songwriter of the year.

The album also produced the song “Rein Me In,” the 32-year-old’s biggest hit to date. In August, its remix with Olivia Dean became the longest-running U.K. No. 1 single of all time, spending 23 non-consecutive weeks at the top. It broke a record of 18 weeks set in 1953 by Frankie Laine’s “I Believe.” The song also won the publicly voted 2026 BRIT Award for song of the year. In the U.S., it peaked at No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100, Fender’s highest entry on that chart.
