Jason Kelce startled Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce early one morning with a call for a “f–ked up” reason, according to the latest episode of New Heights, posted Wednesday (Oct. 21).

The brothers opened the episode by discussing the retired Philadelphia Eagles center’s current fitness regimen. Jason is taking it seriously enough that he brought his own weights to Travis and Swift’s home while visiting them in Kansas City. During the stay, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said he was just waking up when he got “a call at 7:30 in the morning” from his brother, who was in the middle of a workout. The call immediately sent Travis into crisis mode.

“In my mind, I’m thinking worst-case scenario,” Travis recalled. “I’m like, ‘Oh, s–t. Is everything OK? Maybe after the run Jason’s in the hospital, he blew his knee out or something.’ The brain was just waking up.”

The reason was far less urgent. Jason wanted Travis to come spot him, and Travis, the younger brother, got up to help.

“I’m walking out of the room, and Taylor’s like, ‘This is f–ked up,’” the Grotesquerie star quipped as he and Jason laughed. “And I’m just like, ‘Nah, it’ll be good. It’ll be good!’” Travis added as he and Jason cracked up.

Swift officially joined the family in early July, when she married Travis at Madison Square Garden. She currently sits at the top of both the Billboard Hot 100 with “Patient Zero” and the Billboard 200 with The Life of a Showgirl. Besides being a sister-in-law, she has also taken on the role of aunt to Jason’s four daughters with Kylie Kelce.

“When they got to meet Aunt Tay Tay, they were calling her ‘Taylor Swift,’” Travis recalled on New Heights in September, calling the girls’ habit “adorable.”

“‘Taylor Swift, can I do this? Taylor Swift!’” Jason said, mimicking his girls. “You can call her ‘Taylor.’”
