The creators of the live-action adaptation of “Blue Lock” released a new musical trailer featuring the song “Monstro” by Japanese singer Ado, which serves as the film’s theme song.

The trailer showcases training sessions, matches, and the daily lives of participants in the enclosed soccer facility, where 300 players compete for the right to become the main striker for the Japan national team.

Yoichi Isagi serves as the main protagonist, portraying a young soccer player trying to find his own “weapon” and transform into the top striker. Fumiya Takahashi plays the role of Yoichi Isagi. Kaito Sakurai and Kyouhei Takahashi play Meguru Bachira and Hyoma Chigiri, respectively.

Yusuke Taki directs the film, and Tetsuo Kamata wrote the screenplay. Studio CREDEUS handles production, having previously worked on the live-action adaptations of “Kingdom” and “Golden Kamuy”.

“Blue Lock” will be released in Japanese theaters on August 7. There is currently no information regarding an international release.
