Blogger Connected a Rowing Machine to Red Dead Redemption 2 and “Rowed” Along the World’s Longest Real-Life River
Immersion in Rockstar’s game has been taken to an entirely new level.
The YouTuber known as ShakeMistake decided to hook up an unconventional controller to Red Dead Redemption 2 and set off on a long river voyage.
He used a rowing machine. A rig made from a phone, Steam Link, and the Steppl app converted his real-world rowing motions into movement for the canoeist in Red Dead Redemption 2.
ShakeMistake streamed every stroke, and it was evident how much effort it took him to make headway down the river.
