Blizzard Unveils ‘Divine Intervention’ Season Gameplay Trailer for Diablo IV

Developers promise revamped mechanics, new allies, and altered monster behavior.

Blizzard Entertainment has unveiled details for the upcoming Season 11 of Diablo IV, titled “Divine Intervention”, which begins on December 12 at 07:30 Moscow time and will introduce new equipment, fresh challenges, reworked ability balance, and more.

The season centers on the conflict between Heaven and the Burning Hells. Small manifestations of four Lords of the Burning Hells — Azmodan, Duriel, Belial, and Andariel — will appear across different regions of the world.

Players will receive aid from the angel Gadriel, who will appear in major towns and grant divine boons — temporary buffs that come in two varieties (corrupted and purified).

Monster behavior has been improved: enemies will now group together less frequently to reduce vulnerability to area attacks, and they will respond more intelligently to player actions.
