BlazBlue: Entropy Effect Arrives on PlayStation 5 in February
BlazBlue Entropy Effect is expanding to PlayStation 5 under the new title BlazBlue Entropy Effect X. The PS5 edition is scheduled to launch on February 12, 2026.
The game originally debuted as a PC exclusive in February 2024. Entropy Effect is a side-scrolling roguelike spin-off built around lightning-fast action: players choose from a roster of 14 distinct characters, each with signature abilities and combo-driven attacks inspired by the mainline BlazBlue fighters. A notable mechanic lets characters inherit one another’s movesets, enabling inventive and highly personalized playstyles.
Publisher notes around the PlayStation 5 announcement have not clarified whether BlazBlue Entropy Effect X introduces gameplay changes, additional content, or technical enhancements compared to the original PC release.
