With only a modest marketing push, the title largely flew under the radar. Sales were underwhelming, and Steam players offered a muted response — the game holds roughly 69% positive reviews from over thirty user ratings.
Bee Simulator: The Hive is now available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
The sequel expands gameplay with hive-building features, confrontations against hornets and wasps, and local split-screen co-op.
