The sci-fi universe of Battlestar Galactica has been continued with a new game. Gameplay videos for Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes, which is being prepared for PC, have surfaced online.
Alt Shift’s project is described as a fusion of strategy and roguelite. Players command a space fleet and take part in large-scale engagements, making decisions that influence the course of each mission. At times the action pauses for narrative sequences where you must choose how to act in difficult situations—those choices can determine the success of the entire campaign.
The gameplay footage highlights tense space combat, fleet-management mechanics, and elements of tactical planning. The developers say they’ll combine strategic decision-making with random elements to ensure every mission feels distinct.
Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes is set to release in the first quarter of 2026, with Dotemu serving as the publisher.
