Battlefield 6 Introduces a “Casual” Mode with Bots and Challenges

Players who prefer a more relaxed experience can join less intense matches.

Dedicated farm servers quickly gained popularity in Battlefield 6, where players could rapidly level accounts and complete challenges by taking down specially configured bots.

The developers responded by disabling the completion of activities and assignments within Portal mode.

The Battlefield 6 team has now introduced a new game mode called Casual Breakthrough:

We understand that sometimes you want to jump into Battlefield without the intensity of competitive PvP. To offer a calmer experience while still allowing progression and challenge completion, we present Casual Breakthrough — now available in the main menu under the “Multiplayer” tab.

Key features of the mode:

· Small teams — only 16 human players (8 per side) plus 32 bots (16 per side).

· Players can earn account XP, weapon XP, battle pass progression, and complete challenges.

· Actions involving human opponents grant full XP, while rewards for actions against bots are reduced.

· At launch, the available maps are Siege of Cairo and Empire State.

· Dogtags and Accolades cannot be obtained in this mode; career statistics will not be updated.
