Full Patch Notes
Player Experience
- Transitioning into an aimed-down-sights (ADS) stance with a sniper rifle while suppressed is now noticeably smoother when playing as non-Recon classes.
- Soldier models, the Heads-Up Display (HUD), and interface elements render significantly faster immediately following deployment.
- Operators no longer trigger the unintended “Falling Man Down” animation sequence after briefly wading through shallow water.
- Eliminated a visual bug where a duplicate crosshair would briefly flash on screen when entering or exiting the ADS state.
- Resolved a collision issue that previously allowed players to clip through or become trapped inside the stone foundation walls on Iberian Offensive.
Vehicles
- Thermal Smoke Discharge now correctly inflicts damage on nearby adversaries even when the vehicle is parked on an incline.
- Main Battle Tank canister shells no longer erroneously convert into aim-guided projectiles when switching between primary and secondary armaments mid-reload.
Weapons
- The 1P86 Variable Scope can no longer be equipped concurrently with active underbarrel launchers.
- Underbarrel attachment models on the M123K now dynamically update correctly whenever a new accessory is swapped in.
Progression
- The Season 3 Catch-Up Hardware Challenge for the PP-19 now accurately tracks Suppression Assists earned using SMGs.
- The Season 4 Friday Night Battlefield Challenge now correctly registers progress upon successfully completing a match as the host.
Maps & Modes
- Players now spawn seamlessly during the PAX insertion phase in Breakthrough on Tsuru Reef.
- Demolishing the structure adjacent to the Palace on Cairo Bazaar no longer exposes unfinished or unintended interior geometry on the ground floor.
- Pylons on Railway to Golmud now maintain visibility at medium distances, offering clearer sightlines for pilots.
- Corrected a severe visual artifact near Objective C on Tsuru Reef that previously induced intense, distracting screen flashing.
UI & HUD
- Campaign difficulty settings can now be accessed directly from the Select Difficulty screen.
- Console players are now able to properly “like” Portal experiences.
- The “Frontline Fixer” character skin now renders with its intended high-resolution textures.
- Removed an accidental placeholder sticker from the weapon customization menu.
- The Loadouts screen no longer loads as a blank page when returning via a Battlefield Pro Challenge deep link.
Portal
- Supply Crates within Portal Battle Royale lobbies now remain properly synchronized if a participant disconnects and subsequently rejoins the match.
Stability
- Fixed a critical PC-specific issue where select NVIDIA GPUs experienced driver crashes while modifying attachments on the SOR-300SC, using Custom Search, or navigating maps featuring expansive bodies of water.
REDSEC
Vehicles
- Battle Royale tanks no longer remain permanently immobilized or stunned if a player boards them the exact microsecond a sabotage effect expires.
Audio
- Squashed an audio bug that caused the lobby join sound effect to endlessly loop during the matchmaking phase for Battle Royale.
