Greetings Soldier,

Throughout September, Season 4 progressed in full swing. We integrated several advanced detection vectors designed to counter evolving pivot strategies within malicious communities. These proactive measures successfully kept infection rates steady, laying a stable foundation for the substantial security upgrades arriving in our upcoming patches.

Following our August deployment, the Match Infection Rate (MIR) concluded that month at 3.24%, settling at 3.51% as September began.

For a deeper dive into the mechanics behind these fluctuations, please review our comprehensive January update, which breaks down how and why these metrics shift over time.

September: Performance & Impact

Battlefield 6 – Anti-Cheat Metrics – September

Match Infection Rate (MIR): The proportion of matches adversely affected by at least one cheater. This metric encompasses all suspected accounts flagged by the community, including those currently undergoing review where conclusive enforcement data is still pending.

Beginning the month at 3.51%, the MIR remained remarkably consistent throughout September. We observed a monthly peak of 3.64% on September 2nd and a low of 3.27% on September 10th, ultimately closing the period at 3.41%.

Over the course of September, EA Javelin Anti-Cheat successfully intercepted and blocked 439,945 malicious attempts to compromise the game before they could disrupt live matches. Currently, we are actively monitoring 111 (+1) distinct cheat-related entities—encompassing software, hardware peripherals, vendors, resellers, and their supporting networks. Of these tracked groups, 107 (+2) are currently experiencing severe operational disruptions, including feature failures, detection warnings, prolonged downtime, or complete shutdowns, amounting to a 96.39% disruption rate.

Keep the fight fair—see you on the Battlefield.
