In 2024, Balatro emerged as one of the year’s standout hits—so much so that numerous developers sought to join its success and collaborate with its creator. Crossovers are not new for the title, but now it has been integrated into another widely played project.
Balatro has been added to Vampire Survivors. The teams behind two prominent games released in 2022 and 2024 have joined forces to deliver fresh content to poncle’s autobattler.
The announced crossover is included in the new 1.14 update, which is already available in the game. It features:
- Ante Chamber — a free expansion inspired by Balatro;
- Four new characters, four weapons, a new map, and a remix of Balatro’s main theme;
- Survarots — a mechanic that allows modification of heroes’ stats and abilities;
- Online cooperative play.
The developers also expanded the Ode to Castlevania DLC, adding 16 new characters, three weapons with evolutions, and 12 additional music tracks.
