“Avengers: Doomsday” has already amassed $50 million in advance ticket sales across the United States, reaching this milestone roughly three months ahead of its theatrical debut. These figures were disclosed by Hugh Johnston, CFO of The Walt Disney Company, during the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology conference. The film, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, is slated for a worldwide release on December 18, 2026.

Demand for premium screening formats has been particularly robust, with over 70% of tickets sold allocated to the Infinity Vision experience. Disney introduced this new large-format certification at CinemaCon, positioning it as the definitive way to enjoy cinema on the grandest and most immersive scale possible.

“Avengers: Doomsday” will bring together a sprawling ensemble of heroes spanning multiple generations. The Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the Thunderbolts, and characters from the original “X-Men” franchise will unite to confront Victor von Doom, portrayed by Robert Downey Jr. The star-studded cast also features the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers and Chris Hemsworth as Thor, joined by Paul Rudd, Letitia Wright, Sebastian Stan, Tom Hiddleston, and Simu Liu.
