ARC Raiders Sets New Peak Concurrent Players Record — Players Report Servers Crashed
The new extraction-style project has attracted considerable attention.
ARC Raiders, an extraction shooter from Embark Studios, was recently released on PC and consoles. Though the title is premium, it not only exceeded its open test peak (189,000 players) but has continued to see audience growth.
According to SteamDB, ARC Raiders has once again set a new concurrent-player record — reaching 354,000 players. Against this backdrop, users began reporting server unavailability.
It’s believed the servers couldn’t cope with the surge in traffic (PC + consoles). The developers are aware of the situation and are investigating what happened.
