Before embarking on an expedition, be sure to fill your stash with as many valuable items as possible.
Rather than enforcing a mandatory wipe (an account progress reset) on a fixed date, the developers of Arc Raiders have introduced an “Expeditions” system. For a limited period a temporary window will open during which players can choose to “go on an expedition” and receive bonuses.
Embark Studios notified the Arc Raiders community that the expedition will be slightly delayed — the window to sign up will open on December 17, and players will have until December 22 to decide whether to accept the wipe.
The developers also explained the rewards and how they are calculated:
- You can earn up to five skill points for an expedition (wipe), determined by the total value of items in your stash — every one million coins of value grants one additional skill point for the new Raider.
- A wipe will reset all progress-related data, including the skill tree, stash contents, workshop upgrades, and learned blueprints.
- All maps and potential workshop upgrades will become available immediately after the wipe.
Permanent rewards
- The Patchwork Raider outfit
- Scrappy Janitor Cap headgear
- Expeditions Indicator badge
- Skill points (based on the value of items in the stash)
- 12 stash slots
Temporary boosts. These expire if you don’t join the next expedition; effects may be strengthened by consecutive wipes:
- Repair effectiveness +10%
- Experience gain +5%
- 6% more materials from the assistant rooster, Scrappy
