Andrzej Sapkowski satisfied with CDPR deal — developers ask nothing of him
Developers no longer depend heavily on the author’s guidance.
Recently, author Andrzej Sapkowski gave another presentation for his book “Crossroads of the Crows.” During the event he discussed how the collaboration with CD Projekt RED — the studio behind The Witcher games — is arranged.
The author said he was pleased with the new agreement:
My contracts with the developers are excellent right now. I hope they remain that way. CDPR very seldom turns to me for help.
Sapkowski was much more involved in the creation of the early Witcher titles: CDPR teams frequently consulted him for guidance and extra background on the Witcher universe. That’s different today, and he welcomes the change.
