Today, we are thrilled to offer you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our ongoing development for the Soul of Anatolia DLC in Euro Truck Simulator 2. Join us as we spotlight some of the freshly crafted 3D assets designed to give this upcoming map expansion its own distinct identity.

Because this ambitious project is still actively evolving, it is a bit too early to unveil fully realized regions or specific cities while our level designers breathe life into them. Instead, we want to pull back the curtain on a curated collection of newly modeled assets—showcased here within a controlled development environment.

Please bear in mind that the items featured today represent merely a fraction of what is currently in production. Our dedicated art teams continue to generate fresh models throughout the entire pipeline, meaning these previews are just a small taste of the rich environment awaiting you in the final release.

Rooted in extensive geographical research and close cooperation between our cartography and asset departments, these models are meticulously designed to mirror the authentic architecture and cultural flavor of the region. Because this expansion encompasses a diverse array of urban landscapes—ranging from modern metropolitan hubs to historic quarters and charming rural dwellings typical of western Türkiye—we are capturing a vast spectrum of architectural styles.

As development progresses, these components are systematically integrated into the map, steadily transforming sleepy towns and bustling cityscapes into immersive driving destinations. Ultimately, we intend to produce approximately 300 unique generic assets akin to these, alongside our signature landmark structures built to faithfully replicate iconic, highly recognizable regional architecture—keep an eye out for those in upcoming developer diaries!
