Analysts Estimate Wardogs Has Earned $100 Million on Steam
WARDOGS has grossed over $100 million on Steam and sold approximately 3.2 million copies, emerging as one of the most prominent new projects of 2026.
Developer Bulkhead launched the multiplayer shooter WARDOGS in early access in September, where it immediately attracted hundreds of thousands of players. According to analytical firm Alinea Analytics, WARDOGS generated $86.9 million from its September 10 release through the end of the month, with the remainder coming from pre-orders and other sales.
The game currently draws about 250,000 peak concurrent players daily and accounted for one-third of the September revenue generated by new gaming brands launched in 2026.
Despite this success, WARDOGS currently trails two major competitors over a comparable timeframe, as ARC Raiders earned about $125 million and Helldivers 2 brought in $130 million. This gives Bulkhead no reason for disappointment, because the game remains in early access and continued development could sustain audience interest for a long time.
