Creators of Tokyo Revengers Release Creditless Season 4 Opening
The continuation adapts the Three Deities arc from Ken Wakui’s manga.
The creators of Tokyo Revengers have released a creditless opening for the fourth season, featuring the song “IGNITE” by the group JO1.
After defeating Tenjiku, Takemichi returns to the future and discovers that almost everything has finally turned out the way he wanted: Hinata is alive, and his friends have managed to build their lives. The only exception is Mikey. The former Toman leader has distanced himself from his friends and now heads Bonten, Japan’s largest criminal organization. To save Mikey, Takemichi travels back 12 years into the past once again. There, he arrives in an era when Toman has already disbanded, and three factions are fighting for control of Tokyo.
Production is once again handled by studio LIDENFILMS. Koichi Hatsumi serves as director, Yasuyuki Muto oversees the script, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi composes the music.
The fourth season of Tokyo Revengers premiered on October 2 on Disney+. Note that while the source text lists Maya Kodaira as director, official production credits for the series list Koichi Hatsumi in that role.
