Pre-orders Open for Mobapad M12 Pro Controller for Switch 2
Nintendo Switch 2 owners can now pre-order the Mobapad M12 Pro controller, which features TMR Glide sticks, an ergonomic design, and mechanical buttons. The new device also includes a built-in NFC sensor capable of scanning Amiibo figures.
The Mobapad brand, owned by the Chinese company Guangzhou Xinxiang Culture Co., has opened pre-orders for the M12 Pro for the Nintendo Switch 2. The device is a split Joy-Con-style controller consisting of two independent halves.

The controller is available to purchase for $119.99. Buyers paying $135.99 will receive both the controller and the MA21 holder, which merges the two independent M12 Pro halves into a single, full-sized classical gamepad.

The MA21 not only holds the Joy-Cons together but also charges them during gameplay. Additionally, a bundle containing the controller, holder, and a protective carrying and storage case is offered for $149.99.

The new controller features TMR Glide sticks that deliver low-friction movement, zero edge contact, and adjustable dead zones for control. It also includes ABXY buttons and a D-pad equipped with OMRON microswitches, offering a pre-travel distance of 1.0± mm, an actuation force of 95 g ± 6 g, and a button lifespan exceeding 5,000,000 clicks.

The M12 Pro runs on Mobapad-developed linear motors, providing a broader vibration frequency range for a richer and more detailed haptic feedback experience. Precise 9-axis tracking delivers a motion control experience comparable to the Joy-Con 2, offering smooth and responsive aiming and movement in supported Switch 2 games.

A built-in NFC sensor located directly beside the right joystick allows users to scan Amiibo figures. An 800 mAh battery on each side provides up to 20 hours of continuous gameplay. A mouse mode is also included, offering precise ultra-low latency control for smooth and responsive aiming.

The controller features customizable M1/M2 buttons. Each controller half measures 58.72 × 116 × 47 mm and weighs approximately 100 grams. Shipping for the Mobapad M12 Pro for the Switch 2 is scheduled to start on October 28, 2026.
