AMD is gradually lowering the price of the Radeon RX 9070 XT while increasing inventory to ensure wider availability.
On several variants — including the ASUS TUF, Sapphire Pulse and GIGABYTE OC — prices have dropped as much as 31% below MSRP, making the GPU significantly more affordable.
The ASUS TUF Gaming RX 9070 XT OC Edition 16 GB launched in March, with broad availability arriving by mid-April. Its initial price was €935, which fell to €790 by the end of May, then crept slightly above €800 until mid-September. By month’s end the price was reduced to €739.90 — nearly a 21% decrease.
The Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT 16 GB Dual started at €820 and held that price until mid-August. As stock levels increased, the price dropped to €649.90 in early September.
The GIGABYTE RX 9070 XT Gaming OC 16 GB follows the same pattern: an opening price of €1052, a decline to €857 in April, and further reduction to €752 by mid-June — roughly a 31% cut. Subsequent summer discounts and reductions at the end of August brought the price down to €716.
These price reductions combined with better availability suggest AMD is actively vying for market share against NVIDIA.
