The Alterra Corporation is officially seeking ambitious new recruits for the Pioneer program. We invite you to visit our recruitment portal, where you can undertake the Alterra Career Aptitude Test (A.C.A.T.) to determine which specialized role best aligns with your skillset.
Every completed application brings us one step closer to a collective milestone. Should our community reach the target of 100,000 applications by the conclusion of the event, every Subnautica 2 player will be gifted an exclusive in-game poster!
How to Participate
- Take the Assessment: Visit the official recruitment website to complete the A.C.A.T.
- Submit Your Application: Once you have reviewed your designated role, click the “Apply for Recommended Role” button.
- Finalize: After applying, you will be redirected to the Subnautica 2 Steam store page.
- Contribute: Your redirection confirms that your entry has been tallied toward our community goal.
We encourage you to add Subnautica 2 to your Steam wishlist to ensure you receive the latest updates regarding Early Access and future developments.
Event Timeline
The recruitment drive runs from May 2, 2026, at 12:00 PM through May 29, 2026, at 11:59 PM (PDT).
Community Reward
If we achieve our goal of 100,000 total applications, the Lost River Poster will be unlocked as a craftable blueprint for all Subnautica 2 owners. This reward will be granted automatically to all players, regardless of their individual participation in this event.
