Tracking down every Poppit shop in Mina the Hollower is no small feat. This elusive merchant favors hidden, subterranean corners over traditional storefronts. However, the trek is well worth the effort, as Poppit’s signature “wisp” trinkets are among the most effective upgrades in the game—and they come at surprisingly fair prices.
Below, you’ll find a complete guide to locating every Poppit shop in Mina the Hollower and securing all their unique wisp trinkets.
All Poppit shop locations in Mina the Hollower
Poppit is a wandering entrepreneur found in three distinct locations. Each shop carries one unique wisp trinket and one kear (key). Discovering all three and clearing the inventory at the final shop—regardless of the order you visit them in—triggers a hidden event. We have outlined the details of this secret below, so be mindful of potential spoilers.
Each shop entry below lists exactly what you can buy. Remember to bring a healthy stash of bones if you plan to shop! If your pockets are light, don’t worry—Poppit isn’t going anywhere. Even after the hidden event concludes, their inventory remains available, and they will continue to occupy these spots until you’ve purchased everything in stock.
While you don’t need fast-travel capabilities to reach these shops (as they are situated in the early-game regions surrounding Ossex), our guides on navigating regions, unlocking train stations, and finding mirror locations can help you traverse the world of Mina the Hollower with greater ease.
Poppit shop location #1: Eastern Heath
Travel to the Eastern Heath grassland, located east of Ossex, and head south (avoid crossing the bridge). Maneuver past the spiky gear gauntlet, take a sharp right at the first junction, and cross the platforming room toward the east.

You will emerge in a room guarded by three spiky gears; look for the purple doorway in the bottom-right corner. This leads directly to Poppit’s first stall.

Poppit stands ready on the right side of the cavern with these items for sale:
- Willow the Wisp (400 bones): Grants a friendly wisp that enhances your speed and attack power whenever you sustain damage.
- Kear (200 bones)
Poppit shop location #2: Western Wilds
Head to the Western Wilds, west of Ossex. Once you hit the volcanic terrain featuring lava blocks, take the second northward exit. If you haven’t yet, you will need to guide a lava stream (connect it to adjacent lava tiles) into the red boulders blocking your path to clear them. Continue northeast to enter the Molten Foundry.

Burrow through the gap in the northeastern corner and navigate the grates, ensuring you duck underneath the door rather than heading into the corner.

At the split, bear left. You will encounter more red boulders; simply tunnel a stream of lava through the left-side passage and direct it to shatter the northern barrier, revealing the second Poppit shop.

At this location, Poppit sells:
- Helio the Wisp (400 bones): A helpful wisp that restores your health whenever you take damage.
- Kear (200 bones)
Poppit shop location #3: Southern Outskirts
Head directly south from Ossex. Once you pass the city gate, make an immediate right turn into the Cave Network located in the northeast corner.

Leap across the bouncy pads until you hit the northeast exit, then continue your journey southwest.

Look for the purple flower. Burrow underneath it to move it westward, then stop burrowing to launch it across the gap. Once on the other side, shift the flower to the southern ledge and jump onto it to reach the elevated platform.

Ignore the northeast door leading to Bone Beach; instead, take the southern door. Inside, you will find the final Poppit shop.
Poppit offers these wares here:
- Keri the Wisp (500 bones): Allows you to float and extend your fall by pressing the jump button while in mid-air.
- Kear (300 bones)
How to get the Disturbing Dance upgrade in Mina the Hollower
Upon clearing the inventory at your third and final Poppit shop, a special event triggers. Poppit will depart, and a mysterious spirit will whisk you away to an abandoned cavern for an impromptu dance session. Once the cutscene ends, Mina will unlock the Disturbing Dance upgrade, which can be viewed in the same menu as your cloak and sidearm gear. It’s mostly just for fun, but it is certainly a memorable addition to your move set.
Remember, you don’t strictly need to empty every single shop’s stock, provided you have visited all three locations and finished your shopping spree at the last one. Once the event completes, you can use the tunnels on the right to easily navigate back to any of the Poppit shop locations.
