All levels from the original Hades now playable in Hades 2 thanks to modders
The fan-made mod “Zagreus’ Journey” for Hades 2 lets you experience nearly the entire first game while playing as Melinoë. The mod spans Tartarus, Asphodel, Elysium and the Temple of Styx, culminating in the final encounter with Hades.
After installing the mod, a Chaos Gate will appear at the Crossroads, allowing Melinoë to follow Zagreus’s route. Although you can play the mod from start to finish, it is still in beta — some features are unfinished and occasional bugs may be encountered.
The mod requires about 1 GB of free disk space and valid copies of both games. It’s intended for players already familiar with the original so they won’t miss story elements when Zagreus isn’t present.
NikkelM plans to introduce additional content: a secret boss, the Gates of Erebus, new spells, extra events and dialogues featuring Melinoë interacting with other Hades 2 characters, plus new boons for Sisyphus, Eurydice and Patroclus.
