Some fans have imagined Daddario as Wonder Woman or Catwoman.
Alexandra Daddario addressed rumors about a possible role in James Gunn’s DC Universe. The actress has previously contributed to DC projects — she voiced Lois Lane in the animated films Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths and Superman: Man of Tomorrow.
In a recent interview with ScreenRant, she was asked about fan art depicting her as Wonder Woman and Catwoman. Daddario said she hadn’t even known those pieces existed.
“Honestly, I hadn’t seen any of that. It’s flattering to hear such work exists, but I wasn’t aware of it.”
When asked if she would like to join the rebooted DCU, the actress replied:
“Absolutely — working with James Gunn would be incredible in any capacity, but I didn’t even know people were mentioning me in that context.”
Both characters are set to appear in upcoming DCU projects. In September 2025, James Gunn confirmed that Catwoman will be included in the new universe, although no specific project has been attached yet. As for Wonder Woman, a standalone film is in early development — the screenplay is being penned by Ana Nogueira, who collaborated on the Supergirl project starring Millie Alcock, which is also underway. Casting for Catwoman and the new Wonder Woman has not been announced.
