Redox Interactive, alongside Forklift Interactive, has unveiled Gate Guard Simulator. Players will assume the role of a gatekeeper tasked with carefully inspecting everyone seeking entry to the castle and rummaging through wagons for smuggled goods.
Peasants and bards who sing derogatory songs about the guards can be turned away for no clear reason or even tossed into the moat with their lutes — even if they carry an official invitation stamped with the royal seal — while merchants and nobles can be coerced into paying bribes.
The title is planned for personal computers; the release window remains unknown.
