Yura Borisov appears in the first still from the drama “Artificial”
The first official still from director Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming film, Artificial, has been unveiled. The project features a star-studded cast headlined by Oscar nominees Andrew Garfield and Yura Borisov.
The narrative explores the life of OpenAI co-founder Sam Altman, portrayed by Garfield. Borisov steps into the role of Ilya Sutskever, the former chief scientist at OpenAI. The supporting cast includes Monica Barbaro, Cooper Hoffman, Cooper Koch, and Ike Barinholtz, among others. The screenplay was penned by Simon Rich (Saturday Night Live).
Artificial is set to hold its world premiere at the New York Film Festival on October 5. While NEON is handling distribution in the United States, there is currently no information regarding a potential theatrical release in Russia.
