Xbox Marketing Head Changes Profile Picture to Hideo Kojima Meme Amid PHYSINT Transition
Xbox has celebrated its partnership with Hideo Kojima, as Xbox General Manager of Games Marketing Aaron Greenberg called it a “level up” and updated his profile picture to a meme featuring the Japanese developer.
Following PlayStation dropping further work on PHYSINT, Kojima found a new partner in Microsoft, and the project will continue development alongside Xbox. The news sparked a major reaction because the game is set to return Kojima to the spy-action genre and was previously closely tied to PlayStation.
Xbox General Manager of Games Marketing Aaron Greenberg briefly reacted to the situation:
The Xbox team just leveled up!

He did not stop there and temporarily changed his profile picture on X. It shows Kojima holding an Xbox Series X like a rocket launcher. The meme originated during the launch of the current-generation console and has now taken on new meaning.
Microsoft previously partnered with Kojima Productions on the creation of OD, and relations have now expanded to include PHYSINT. The project, which was initially tied to PlayStation, will continue development with Xbox involvement.
