WWE sensation Liv Morgan is embracing her rebellious side. Ahead of her high-stakes Women’s World Championship match at WrestleMania 42 this Saturday, April 18, the wrestling star dropped the gritty music video for her track, “Trouble,” on Monday.
Donning a playful “I Heart Trouble” tee, Morgan leans fully into a chaotic aesthetic throughout the visual. The 31-year-old athlete sets the tone by lighting a car ablaze, causing a scene at a pool hall, and even getting inked.
“Trouble, trouble, that’s me / Cherry lips and bad energy / Say it once, say it twice and I’ll give it to you all night,” she proclaims in the song’s catchy, defiant chorus.
The cinematography shifts to a moody, industrial parking garage where Morgan and her dancers command attention, channeling a vibe reminiscent of the iconic choreography seen in the Pussycat Dolls’ “Buttons” music video. The narrative takes a dark turn when local law enforcement arrives to apprehend the star; even while bloodied and bruised, Morgan keeps her signature mischievous grin during her mugshot.
Whether she is dominating the squared circle or exploring her musical ambitions, Morgan remains remarkably grounded as she prepares for her eighth WrestleMania appearance.
Reflecting on her return to the ring following her injury, Morgan shared on the Insight With Chris Van Vliet podcast (April 9), “I’m focusing on staying present. WrestleMania is definitely on my mind, but I’m avoiding the pressure by taking it day by day. I feel ready.”
Morgan’s creative pursuits have recently extended to the festival circuit, as she was spotted soaking up the atmosphere at Coachella in the Palm Springs desert this past weekend.
Regarding her musical future, Morgan previously revealed her dream collaboration to Billboard: a remix of her theme song featuring heavy hitters Drake and Sabrina Carpenter. “I’d love to see Sabrina provide that opening giggle, with Drake jumping in to add some cool, gritty flair,” she mused.
Fans can witness Liv Morgan challenge for the Women’s World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer this Saturday at WrestleMania 42. The event will be available to stream globally via Netflix and on the ESPN App for U.S. viewers with eligible subscriptions.
