Southern California’s premier independent dance music promoter, Framework, is preparing to make its inaugural journey to Miami this coming December to coincide with the festivities of Art Basel.

Collaborating with local independent tastemakers unKommon events, Framework will curate a standout showcase on December 4 featuring the celebrated Dutch house duo ANOTR, perfectly timed with the city’s vibrant convergence of contemporary art, elite culture, and nightlife.

The high-profile event will transform a previously unutilized site at Watson Island Park—a picturesque sanctuary situated in Biscayne Bay right between the bustling energy of South Beach and downtown Miami. Passes can be secured directly through Dice. Amsterdam-native act ANOTR continues an incredible momentum surge, propelled by their Ultra 54 collaboration “Talk to You,” which recently dominated the summit of the WARM Global Dance Radio charts for consecutive weeks.

Art Basel represents an exceptionally dynamic week for the electronic music circuit in Miami, drawing world-class selectors and renowned party series from across the globe. Framework founder Kobi Danan shared with Billboard that the brand intends to maintain its uncompromising identity: “Just like anywhere we go, we’re going to do things our own way. Framework has always been about creating a distinct experience around the music, the production, and the people in the room. Miami also gives us the opportunity to introduce that experience in a relatively new venue, while being close to the heart of where so much of Art Week is happening.”

This Miami excursion follows closely on the heels of Framework’s partnership for an upcoming showcase near Phoenix on October 30 headlined by Chris Stussy. Co-produced alongside Arizona’s esteemed independent promoter Relentless Beats, that milestone event marks Framework’s maiden voyage outside of California, cementing their reputation as a vanguard of West Coast club culture across Los Angeles and beyond.

Additionally, Framework maintains an ongoing creative alliance with The Concourse Project in Austin, Texas, lending their expertise to talent curation and venue programming. These strategic expansions into Arizona and Florida signal a sophisticated, highly collaborative approach to growing their footprint nationwide.

Back in Southern California, Framework is renowned for reimagining unconventional urban architecture—ranging from downtown Los Angeles’ historic Sears Building and dynamic takeovers of Hollywood Boulevard to their seasonal oasis Reframe and the legendary nightclub Sound. They are also the creative force behind the eagerly anticipated annual Coachella-adjacent destination series, Framework In the Desert.

“As the Framework brand continues to grow, we’ve been receiving more and more requests to bring what we do to different markets,” Danan explained regarding the expansion. “I wouldn’t necessarily define it as a traditional expansion—we’re partnering with dear friends and incredible brands to bring our style of production and sound to different markets around major cultural moments… We’re fortunate to partner with people who have been doing incredible work in their markets for years, and it’s an honor to be invited to grow alongside them.”

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles itinerary remains intensely active, featuring upcoming performances by Rossi. at Expo Lawn, Planet X at California Plaza, Francis Mercier at Reframe Studios Outdoors, Jimi Jules at Gin Ling Way, and a formidable series with Kettama, Max Styler, and Prospa at Shrine Expo Hall co-presented in partnership with Goldenvoice.

Despite a heavily packed schedule, Danan emphasizes that future endeavors outside of their home turf will be handled with deliberate intention. “When the community welcomes us and the right combination of artist, venue, and opportunity comes together,” he notes. “We’re not looking to expand just for the sake of expanding. It has to feel right for Framework and, most importantly, for the community we’re entering.”
